  • All processing happens on your device
  • No tracking, no analytics, no ads
  • Your images never leave your phone

1. Introduction

ScreenPrint ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application for printing screenshots and images to Bluetooth thermal printers.

Important Notice: ScreenPrint does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All operations are performed locally on your device.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be crystal clear about what we DON'T do:

  • We do NOT collect personal information
  • We do NOT store your images on our servers
  • We do NOT track your usage or behavior
  • We do NOT share data with third parties
  • We do NOT use analytics or advertising SDKs
  • We do NOT require user accounts or registration

3. Permissions and Their Purpose

Our app requires certain Android permissions to function. Here's why each permission is needed:

Bluetooth Permissions

Purpose: Required to discover, connect to, and communicate with Bluetooth thermal printers.

Data Access: Only accesses paired Bluetooth devices for printing purposes.

Local Processing: All Bluetooth operations are performed locally; no data is transmitted outside your device.

Camera Permission

Purpose: Allows you to take photos directly within the app for immediate printing.

Data Access: Camera access is only activated when you explicitly choose to take a photo.

Local Processing: Photos are temporarily stored in app cache and deleted after printing.

Storage/Media Permissions

Purpose: Enables you to select images from your device's gallery for printing.

Data Access: Only accesses images you explicitly select through the system picker.

Local Processing: Selected images are processed locally and never uploaded anywhere.

Screenshot Capture Permissions

Purpose: Required for the screenshot capture feature using Android's MediaProjection API.

Data Access: Captures screen content only when you explicitly initiate a screenshot.

Local Processing: Screenshots are temporarily stored in app cache and deleted after printing.

User Control: You must grant permission each time before screen capture can begin (Android system requirement).

Overlay Permission

Purpose: Displays a floating screenshot button over other apps for quick access.

Data Access: Does not access any data; only displays a visual button.

User Control: You can disable this permission at any time in device settings.

Battery Optimization Exemption

Purpose: Prevents Android from killing the print service mid-operation, ensuring reliable printing.

Data Access: Does not access any data; only affects app lifecycle management.

Optional: This is recommended but not required for the app to function.

4. Data Storage and Processing

All data processing in ScreenPrint happens entirely on your device:

  • Images: Temporarily cached in app-specific storage, automatically deleted after use
  • Screenshots: Captured and stored temporarily in app cache, deleted after printing
  • Printer Settings: Stored locally in app preferences (paper size, printer selection, etc.)
  • No Cloud Storage: We do not have servers or cloud infrastructure to store your data
  • No Database: We do not maintain any database of user information or images

5. Third-Party Services

ScreenPrint does NOT integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms. The app operates completely independently without external connections.

6. Children's Privacy

ScreenPrint does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age. The app does not target children and does not knowingly collect information from minors.

7. Data Security

While we don't collect personal data, we take the following security measures for local data:

  • Images are stored in app-specific private storage inaccessible to other apps
  • Temporary files are automatically cleaned up after use
  • No data transmission occurs outside your device
  • Bluetooth communication is encrypted by the Android OS

8. Your Privacy Rights

Since we don't collect or store your personal data, there is:

  • No data to request access to

However, you have full control over:

  • Permissions: Revoke any permission at any time through Android Settings
