Does ScreenPrint collect my data?

No. ScreenPrint does NOT collect any personal data. All processing happens locally on your device. Your images, screenshots, and printer settings never leave your phone. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Which printers are supported?

ScreenPrint supports most Bluetooth thermal printers including:

  • ESC/POS printers: 58mm, 80mm (receipt printers)
  • TSPL printers: 100mm x 150mm (label printers)

  2. Make sure printer is turned on and charged
  3. Keep printer within 10 meters of your phone
  4. Restart both printer and phone
  5. Unpair and re-pair the printer in Android Settings
  6. Grant Bluetooth permissions to ScreenPrint

Print quality is poor. How to fix?

Try these solutions:

  • Adjust print density: Increase the density slider (move right for darker prints)
  • Check paper width: Make sure it matches your actual printer paper width
  • Image quality: Use high-resolution images when possible
  • Printer issues: Clean printer head, replace thermal paper if old
  • Battery: Ensure printer battery is sufficiently charged

Screenshot feature doesn't work?

Make sure you:

  1. Grant Overlay permission when requested
  2. Grant Screenshot capture permission (system dialog)
  3. Tap "Start Now" in Android's MediaProjection dialog
  4. See the floating button and notification appear
  5. Navigate to any app, then tap the floating button to capture

If you denied permission, go to Android Settings → Apps → ScreenPrint → Permissions to grant them.

Can I print from other apps?

Yes! Use the screenshot feature:

  1. Open ScreenPrint and activate screenshot capture
  2. Navigate to any app you want to print from
  3. Tap the floating screenshot button (or notification action)
  4. The screenshot will open in ScreenPrint for printing

This works with any app: WhatsApp, Chrome, Email, Maps, etc.

Is there a subscription fee?

No. ScreenPrint has no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no ads. Pay once (or download free), use forever.

Does it need internet connection?

Troubleshooting

App crashes when printing

Solutions:

  • Make sure you're using the latest version of ScreenPrint
  • Clear app cache: Settings → Apps → ScreenPrint → Clear Cache
  • Reduce image size (use crop feature)
  • Disable battery optimization for ScreenPrint
  • Restart your device

Prints are blank

Check:

  • Thermal paper is installed correctly (thermal side up)
  • Paper is not expired (thermal paper has shelf life)
  • Print density is not too light (increase density slider)
  • Printer head is clean (use cleaning card)
  • Printer battery is charged

Prints are cut off or incomplete

Fix:

  • Verify paper width setting matches actual paper (58mm vs 80mm)
  • Use crop feature to fit content to paper width
  • Leave paper height empty for auto-height
  • Ensure printer has enough paper loaded

Bluetooth keeps disconnecting

Try:

  • Keep phone within 10 meters of printer
  • Remove obstacles between phone and printer
  • Close other Bluetooth apps that might interfere
  • Disable battery optimization for ScreenPrint
  • Check printer battery level
  • Update Android OS to latest version

Permission denied errors

Grant permissions:

  1. Go to Android Settings → Apps → ScreenPrint
  2. Tap "Permissions"
  3. Enable required permissions:
    • Bluetooth (Required)
    • Photos/Media (For gallery access)
